All parents are more than welcome to attend our Parents and Citizen's meetings which are held on the second Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm to 8:30pm, in the staffroom.

The P & C has raised funds to provide equipment and resources not provided by Education Queensland. We contribute to the school budget to provide for school maintenance, Music, Library, Sports, computers in classrooms, etc. The P & C also provides the tuckshop service.

The P & C provides advice to the principal on matters involving the school community. Aims of P & C

  • To assist the school to improve the quality of our children's learning.
  • To assist the school to improve the quality of our children's learning environment.
  • Work together with parents to raise money for the projects within the school community.
  • To maintain a productive tuckshop for the school community.

Achievements for 2005/2006

These are just a sample of where the P&C have allocated funds this year.
  • Air Conditioning ($71,000 P&C Contibution.) in conjuntion with the School for a $178,000 total cost
Grant from the Gambling Community Fund

We have been granted $30,000 for Sound and Lighting in the Hall. This is our third grant.

  1. $15,000 for a storage shed
  2. $12,000 for a playground
That's a total of $57,000.
